Athens, the capital and the largest city of Greece is served by the Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport located at about 27 kms from the city center. An underground walkway connects the main terminal with the satellite terminal. Metros are provided from the airport to the city center. The airport trains run every half an hour and are indicated on the schedule and by an airplane logo on the front of the train. These are also announced by the signs on the metro platform. Information counters are available in all the terminals of the airport to cater to passengers’ needs.
