Xiamen Airlines is based in the Fujian city of Xiamen in Southeast China with additional hubs in Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Beijing, Tianjin and Changsha. It serves 54 mainland China destinations and 16 Greater China and international destinations flying a total of 4,000 weekly flights.
Established 1984 it is one of only a handful of airlines worldwide that has been consistently profitable since its founding. It has accumulated over 3 million hours of safe operations and carried more than 20 million passengers. It is the only Chinese airline to be awarded the Jinyan Cup for safety for 3 consecutive years by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CACC)

Depending on the route, Xiamen Airlines offers up to 3 classes of service. First Class cabins have 4 seats with an incredibly roomy 84 inch pitch on its B787 Dreamliner aircraft. In Business Class, it has 18 seats with a 74 inch pitch. Both have individual touch-screen monitors with a wide selection of the latest, on-demand, bi-lingual entertainment and a gourmet menu. In Economy Class, the seat pitch is 33 inches. The airline’s all-Boeing fleet which is the largest in China also features B757 and B737 aircraft.
