Singapore Airlines Travel Experience

Singapore Airlines is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and service. Their modern aircrafts boast the ultimate comfort with ergonomically-designed seats, even for economy passengers. KrisWorld, the in-flight entertainment system, offers over 1,800 movies, TV programs, and games to choose from. WiFi packages are available to purchase.

A range of cabin classes and fare options are available. Premium Economy Class offers increased comfort with more room and a leg rest. Business and First Class enjoy more space and privacy, fully-flat beds, luxury amenities and catering, and complementary WiFi. On the A380, luxury suites provide sliding doors and a separate bed. All passengers receive complimentary meals, snacks and drinks. The “Book the Cook” service means Premium Economy, Business and First Class passengers can pre-order meals from a wide selection of meals designed by world-renowned chefs.

Singapore Airlines’ Silver Kris Lounges are found at select airports, with access depending on travel class and membership status. The Kris Flyer Gold Lounge is available to KrisFlyer Elite Gold members departing on Economy Class at the Singapore Changi Airport.

Singapore Airlines Check-in & Baggage

Online check-in open 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure and closes 90 minutes prior. Singapore Airlines recommends arriving the airport 2.5 hours before departure if you are checking in bags, or 1.5 hours before departure without checked bags.

Additional Information

Baggage allowances for flights to and from the United States follow a piece concept (2 x 32 kg pieces for Suites, First and Business Class; 2 x 23 kg pieces for Premium Economy and Economy Class).

KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members receive an extra 20 kg baggage allowance. Additional and oversized baggage may be pre-booked, but should not exceed 78 x 31 x 29 inches/200 x 75 x 80 cm.

Passengers traveling with infants are allowed one extra checked-in bag and carry-on bag, and may bring on board a collapsible stroller plus a cot or car seat. Infants under two do not need their own seat fare and baby bassinets are available if booked in advance. Wheelchairs and other special assistance items may be checked free of charge.
