Rwandair main hub is at Kigali Airport, Rwanda. Originally established in 2002 as Rwandair Express, with the acquisition of its Boeing 737, the airline changed its name to Rwandair in 2008, signifying its change from a small regional carrier to a major airline servicing well beyond its borders.

Rwandair’s fleet consists of the CRJ900, CRJ200, 737-500 and 737-88NG. Boeing aircrafts offers a dual cabin configuration with both Business and Economy seating while the Bombardier flights offer single cabin seating. Snacks are offered on all flights and meal service is provided on longer flights. In both 2014 and 2015, Rwandair was awarded as one of the best Regional Carrier of the Year Africa.
Benefits of being a member include priority boarding and upgrades. Additional baggage weight allowed for Silver members and up. Use miles for tickets, upgrades and towards excess baggage.
Baggage allowance for each piece is 30 kgs and the three-dimensional size limitations cannot exceed 203 centimeters (80 inches).
