Fly with Iberia

Introduction to Iberia

Spain's national carrier, Iberia has been serving customers since 1927. Starting out as a private enterprise, the airline was nationalized in 1944, then reprivatized in 2001. Since then, the Madrid based airline has merged with British Airways, consolidating the fleets of two of Europe's biggest aviation companies, while also striking codeshare agreements with airlines like Finnair and American Airlines. The airline flies to almost 100 destinations, covering 26 Spanish cities and 63 global cities, including Cairo, Dublin, and Mumbai.

Stateside, Iberia operates out of New York (JFK), Chicago O'Hare, and Miami to Europe via its hub in Madrid Barajas Airport. A member of the oneworld airline alliance, Iberia also offers service from 21 additional US cities on codeshare with American Airlines, with connecting services to over 50 destinations in Europe, as well as destinations in Africa and the Middle East.

Iberia Travel Experience

Passengers can choose from a number of different ticket classes. There are three different Business Class options: Plus, Club, and Class. All offer spacious individual seating compartments, and Plus features a reclining bed and wine selections from the airline's own sommelier.
