EVA Air Check-in

Online check-ins are possible from 48 hours up to 60 minutes, pre-flight for all ticketed passengers.

Travelers with checked luggage must check their baggage and obtain their boarding passes at the airport check-in counter no later than 1 hour prior to the departure of the flight. Travelers with no checked luggage, but have their boarding passes, are advised to arrive at the boarding gate no later than 30 minutes prior to departure. *Please note that the customs clearance time may vary depending on departing airport.

EVA Air Allowed Luggage Size Dimension

EVA Air Checked Luggage

The total size of each checked baggage (total H + W + L) should be less than 158cm (62in).
If the luggage exceeds 158 cm, additional charge fee will be applied.

EVA Air Carry-on Luggage

The sum of the three dimensions of the personal item or baggage can not exceed 115cm.
Any items travelers wish to carry onboard must fit in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front.

Allowed Luggage per EVA Air Cabin Class

Business Class

• Checked luggage x 2pcs (each up to 32kg/70lbs)
• Carry-on luggage x 2pcs (each up to 7kg/15lbs)

Premium Economy Class

• Checked luggage x 2 pc (up to 23kg/50lbs)
• Carry-on luggage x 1pc (up to 7kg/15lbs)

Economy Class

• Checked luggage x 2pcs ((up to 23kg/50lbs)) - except on "Discount Fare Booking Class" which is allowed only 1 pc (up to 23 kg)
• Carry-on luggage x 1pc (up to 7kg/15lbs)

Please note:

• Some items are restricted from cabin luggage depending on the route/destination. When traveling from the United States and Canada, for security purposes, checked and locked baggage may be opened during security checks.

• Passengers with Royal Laurel / Premium Laurel status are entitled to the same luggage allowance as Business Class (traveling to/from the United States and Canada).

• Passengers traveling with an infant(s) are entitled to one piece with weight of baggage allowance as traveling class. For infants without a seat, a fully collapsible stroller/pushchair or infant carrying basket or car seat can be checked as baggage or accepted as a carry-on (subject on space availability). Please remove all accessories attached to the stroller if it will be checked-in.
