EVA Air Travel Experience

Passengers can fly on five cabin classes with EVA Air: Royal Laurel Class, Premium Laurel Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class. There are lounges for EVA Air MileageLands passengers at Taiwan's Taoyuan, Songshan, Kaohsiung, and Taichung Airports. Taoyuan International Airport's four luxury lounges are The Garden, The Infinity, The Star, and The Club. These lounges offer a range of amenities for frequent-flyer or membership-holding passengers.

EVA Air cabins feature comfortable, reclining seats with an ergonomic design and adjustable headrests. There is high-quality in-flight entertainment consisting of video, music and gaming, and a range of meals on long-haul flights that boast healthy and fresh options for passengers with a range of dietary requirements. EVA Air Check-in & Baggage

Passengers can save time and check into their EVA Air flights ahead of departure. Check-in for EVA Air flights is available online via their mobile or computer device, or at the airport's kiosks, where travelers can also use self-service baggage drop.

Check-in is possible between 48 and 1 hour before the flight departs, and passengers who have their boarding passes should arrive no later than 30 minutes before their flight. Those without boarding passes should arrive no later than 1 hour before their scheduled flight departure.

Additional Information

There is an additional charge per kg/ lbs of excess luggage, or per piece in Piece Concept destinations (US, Canada, and some South/ Central American countries). Excess luggage can be purchased per kg/ lbs ahead of time on EVA Air's website. Oversized luggage such as sporting equipment or musical instruments may be considered within the luggage allowance, it is best to look at EVA Air's Excess Baggage website. Infants not entitled to a seat on any route or class are permitted one piece of baggage with the same weight of baggage as an adult traveling class. Infants are not entitled to a seat, and one must be purchased. For Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Star Alliance Gold members, one additional piece of luggage is permitted; the weight of the additional baggage is determined by the booking class.
