Delta Air Lines Check-in

Delta provides an online check-in service within 24 hours of your departure. The online platform also makes allowance for redeeming your Sky Miles and accepts all major credit and debit card payments.

The recommended arrival time at the airport is 2 hours prior to departure when traveling within the United States. You must be checked in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Additionally, you are required to be at the gate and ready to board at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. For international flights check-in time is 3 hours before departure, and you need to allow at least 60 minutes before your flight leaves and be ready to board at least 45 minutes before departure time.

The total size of each checked baggage should not exceed a maximum dimension (total H + W + L) of 157 cm (62 in).

Delta Air Lines Carry-on Luggage

Every travelers is allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item onboard at no charge and the sum of the three dimensions of the personal item or baggage can not exceed 45 linear inches or 114cm (total L x W x H), including handles and wheels). Baggage must be within the carry on size limitation : 56 x 35 x 23 cm.

Passenger may carry the following items:

• 1 purse, briefcase, camera bag, diaper bag
• or 1 laptop computer
• or 1 item of a similar or smaller size

Additionally, the following items do not count as personal items and can be carried onboard:

• a jacket and/or umbrella
• food or drink purchased after the security checkpoint
• duty-free merchandise
• baby strollers, child seats or assistive mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or crutches
