Air Canada Check-in

Air Canada customers have a number of options for checking-in, including web check-in, mobile check in and airport kiosks.

Passengers can check-in online as early as 24 hours prior to departure, or, alternatively, 12 hours prior to departure at the kiosk. Prior to check-in, please ensure that your baggage does not contain any prohibited items to avoid delays and ensure you have your travel documents close at hand.

Air Canada Allowed Check-in and Carry-on Luggage Size Dimension

The maximum weight per bag is 23 kg (50 lbs) and the total size of each checked baggage (total H + W + L) should be less than 158 cm (62 in).
If the luggage exceeds 158 cm, an additional charge fee will be applied.

• Irrespective of destination, 1 standard bag and 1 personal article can be carried on board.
• The standard bag must have a maximum size 55 x 23 x 40 cm (H x D x W).
• The personal article must be no larger than 33 x 16 x 43 cm.
