The beautiful UNESCO City Walls of Dubrovnik can been seen in many episodes of Game of Thrones, but sites across the city have also been used! Check out Fort Lovrijenac, used particularly in the opening of Season 2, and Lokrum Island which is also a popular tourist destination for locals.

Filming mainly centred around the town of Mdina, but the most famous set is the Azure Window on the Maltese island of Gozo. The coastal feature collapsed in a storm at the beginning of 2017, but it's still a beautiful area and well worth a visit to the wedding site of Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen.
