Qatar Airways operates an illustrious frequent flyer program called the Privilege Club. There are four different tiers: Burgundy, Silver, Gold and Platinum. All members receive priority standby and a family accrual rate. Qatar Airways Travel Classes

Qatar Airways offers its innovative ORYX One entertainment system to all customers. As well as the latest movies and TV shows, passengers can enjoy a wealth of games, albums and audiobooks. All passengers have access to onboard Wi-Fi, which includes the use of ORYX One Play wireless streaming to mobile devices. There is a high-quality meal service in every cabin class, and all passengers can choose vegan, vegetarian and Halal options.

As well as a great Economy Class, Qatar Airways operates Business and First Class cabins. First Class passengers receive a lie-flat bed, fresh linen and a duvet. There are also more than 4,000 entertainment options - all accessible through an extra-large, high-definition screen. The airline offers a relatively new way to travel for small groups and families. Qsuite is a private space featuring a large dining table, a dedicated server and two large, pullout entertainment screens.

Qatar Airways planes have some of the most generous seat pitches in the aviation industry. First Class passengers get 208 cm (82 inches), Business Class passengers get between 152 cm (60 inches) and 203 cm (80 inches), while economy passengers get between 79-86 cm (31-34 inches).

Qatar Airways Check-in & Baggage

Online check-in for flights to and from all other destinations (besides the United States), check-in opens 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. Passengers can check-in up to 90 minutes before the scheduled take-off time. Qatar Airways advises that passengers arrive at the airport at least three hours before an international flight.

Allowed Luggage per cabin in Qatar Airways

Business Class
Most flights allow Business Class and First Class passengers to check-in two pieces of luggage. The maximum weight for each item is 32 kg (70 lbs). However, it's best to check with Qatar Airways before flying, as there are some small differences on certain routes.

Business Class and First Class passengers can carry two items of hand luggage on board. However, the total weight must not exceed 15 kg (33 lbs).

Economy Class

Economy passengers are allowed two items of checked baggage. Each item must not exceed 23 kg (50 lbs). The current carry-on allowance is one item that must not exceed 7kg (15 lbs).

Allowed Luggage Size Dimensions

Across all classes, the total dimensions of checked baggage (length + height + depth) should not exceed 158 cm (62 inches). However, flights to Morocco and various African destinations impose a limit of 300 cm/118 inches. The maximum dimensions for any carry-on luggage are 50 x 37 x 25 cm (20 x 15 x 10 inches).

Additional Information

Members of the Privilege Club receive extra baggage allowance for free. Silver members get an extra 10 kg (22 lbs), Gold members receive an additional 15 kg (33 lbs) and Platinum members get an extra 20 kg (44 lbs). For passengers travelling to and from North America, each overweight item incurs a USD $52 charge. Passengers with infants can take a small stroller or carrycot on board, free of charge.
