Precision Air- One of East Africa's Leading Airlines
Precision Air is a Tanzanian passenger airline which operates out of Julius Nyerere Airport in Dar es Salaam. The airline predominantly operates within Tanzania, connecting the capital to cities like Arusha, Mtwara and Zanzibar, but also offers connections to the Kenyan capital Nairobi and Moroni in the Comoros Islands. Every year, its fleet of 10 ATR planes carry around 400,000 people to destinations across East Africa.
The airline was born in 1993 from a small private charter hire company. As the market for internal flights in Africa boomed and more tourists flocked to the beaches of the Indian Ocean coast, Precision saw an opportunity. Since then, it has become the country's most efficient airline. It's also one of the safest and most modern airlines in Africa, having become the first Tanzanian airline to pass the IATA Operational Safety Audit in 2006.
As well as flying within the East Africa region, Precision Air has codeshare agreements with international carriers, including big names like Etihad, expanding its global reach. It's also struck an agreement with Qatar Airways, British Airways and Virgin, making it easier to book Precision tickets from the UK and Europe.

There's are two classes of fare available from Precision: Economy and Business Class. Business Class travellers enjoy a few extra perks such as priority queueing and additional leg room.
All bookings can be processed online, and you can add extra features like car rental, hotel accommodation or airport taxis when you place your order. There's also a "deals and offers" section on the Precision website which features promotional deals on new routes.
Precision Air also participates in the PAA Royal loyalty scheme. This allows passengers to build up points on domestic and international flights with the airline's partners, which can be spent on flights, car rental and hotels if desired.
