Cathay Pacific offers four cabin classes - Economy, Premium Economy, Business and, on selected routes, First Class. Cabin features vary across aircraft types but whichever class you choose, you can sit back and enjoy comfortable seating, in-flight entertainment and complimentary food and soft drinks as well as friendly service.
First Class
Cathay Pacific First Class is spacious and comfortable. During the day, your seat has a massage function, a personal TV and storage while at night, it turns into a lie-down bed with luxury linen. If you have to work en route, you'll find USB ports, power outlets and, on some aircraft, complimentary Wi-Fi.
Business Class
This delivers generous legroom as well as a personal TV and storage. When the lights dim, enjoy a restful night on your lie-down bed.
Premium Economy Class
Upgrade to wider seats, a larger pitch and a bigger recline with Premium Economy. Other features include a large table, a footrest, a personal TV and storage and power outlets.
Economy Class
Relax in comfortable seats with a 15cm (6 inches) recline and 81 cm (32 inches) seat pitch while enjoying an extensive entertainment programme.
Cathay Pacific has lounges at airports across the globe including Vancouver, Toronto, London, Hong Kong, and Beijing. While facilities vary, they are all relaxing and comfortable with Wi-Fi, complimentary refreshments, workstations, toilets, showers, flight monitors, TVs and reading material. Check-in for Cathay Pacific flights either online or at self-service airport kiosks. Once you have checked in, you can print your boarding pass or download it to your mobile device. Self-service baggage drops are available at the airport. Online check-in is open from 48-hours to 90 minutes before departure. Passengers flying from Hong Kong need to be at their gate 45 minutes before departure time while on flights from Canada, boarding gates close 60 minutes prior to take-off.
First Class
Take advantage of a generous allowance on transatlantic flights of two pieces of checked luggage weighing in total up to 50kg (110 lbs). Your carry-on allowance is one piece of luggage weighing up to 15 kg (33 lbs).
Business Class
On transatlantic flights with a business class ticket, you can check in two pieces of luggage with a combined weight of up to 32 kg (70 lbs). One piece of carry-on luggage is allowed, weighing up to 10 kg (22 lbs).
Premium Economy Class
For transatlantic flights, Premium Economy passengers have a checked allowance of two suitcases weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs) in total. One piece of hand luggage is permitted. This can weigh up to 7 kg (15 lbs).
Economy Class
On transatlantic flights with Economy Class tickets, you can check in two pieces of luggage that weigh up to 23 kg (50 lbs) in total. You are also allowed one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7 kg (15 lbs).
There are no restrictions on the size of checked-in luggage while carry-on luggage across all classes must not exceed 36 x 23 x 56 cm (14 x 9 x 22 inches).

Sports equipment is counted as checked-in luggage while musical instruments can either be checked-in or extra seats bought to accommodate them. There is no charge for infants aged from 7-days to 24-months providing they travel on an adult's lap. Children from two to 12 travel at a discounted price.
